HOW IT WORKS
From site review to a working system
- Site review. We walk the property, note every entry and camera view, and check which existing equipment is compatible and can stay.
- Written design and quote. Installation and the monthly service plan are quoted together, in writing, before you commit.
- Installation and testing. Licensed installation, every device tested, and alerts set up for the people who will act on them.
- Handover and support. App setup, users and codes, a walkthrough for your team, and one local contact for changes and service.

Alarm.com home security: common questions
Do I need a landline?
No. Alarm.com systems use a dedicated cellular connection between your home and the Alarm.com platform.
Can you use the sensors already in my house?
Often, yes. Many homes come pre-wired with door and window sensors. We check what is compatible during the site review. See switching to Alarm.com.
Where is my video saved?
Alarm.com can save clips in the cloud and, on supported cameras, locally on a microSD card. We set up recording to fit how you use it.
Is professional monitoring available?
Yes. Professional monitoring plans are available, and installation and the monthly plan are quoted together before you commit.
